New York, NY -- NOVA MUSIC PRODUCTIONS. INC., representing a resource network of over 150 music-related businesses throughout the U.S., has now created a support system where independent record labels and artists can obtain access to record distribution, radio airplay, publicity, world-wide web site design/promotion, merchandising, manufacturing, printing and more at reduced rates.

Independent record labels and artists spend a significant amount of time searching for the best prices and quality on anything from recording and mastering studios to CD/Cassette/Vinyl manufacturers. They hunt for the right producer, engineer, photographer, videographer and graphic artist. Then they spend hours putting together mailings, making endless phone calls, pushing record stores to carry their releases, and begging booking agents and radio just to listen. They do it by themselves with little or no support. They now have a resource . . . NOVA MUSIC - The Music Industry Resource Center.

Michael Nova, director of NOVA MUSIC explains, "we've created something new in the music industry, and because we buy in large quantities as a network, we can offer excellent rates to our clients. Now we've developed a plan whereby with one phone call to NOVA MUSIC, record labels and artists can find everything they need.

Also, as a free public service through the "City As School", an alternative high school in New York City, NOVA MUSIC offers internship referrals to record labels and music companies. To further benefit the community, NOVA MUSIC hosts fundraisers for selected charities several times a year.
